Sheila Knight has stepped in to take this workshop, which you will note will be from 10-3pm. We will be making the fob shown below. An ideal piece to make as a Christmas gift.

You will need an Evenweave Fabric where the threads can be pulled out. (Not an interlocking fabric such as Aida)

(The size will be determined by the No of holes to the inch of the fabric that is used. Sheila used 22 to the inch and her fob is 6 cm square when finished).

Either Perle size 8 or Six Stranded threads in colour of choice. A blunt ended cross stitch needle and an embroidery hoop.

You will Learn how to do: Kloster Blocks – Eyelet Stitch -Cutting and withdrawing threads -Woven Bars – and Doves Eye Filling Stitch

Sheila will have a worksheet for each person which will be able to be used alongside her teaching and then later at home.

These small pincushions can be attached to the top of your frame when working, so that your needles can be parked in the pincushion instead of leaving a mark in your fabric.
